Find and export
your WooCommerce data.

WooCommerce Analytics provides order quantities and report CSVs. A fuller store archive also needs the WordPress database and relevant file storage, which can contain customer and order detail beyond the report.

Find your WooCommerce data size

  1. Use the WordPress administrator account for the store.
  2. Open Analytics → Orders and select the required full date range.
  3. Read the order count and use Download to obtain the report table.
  4. If older orders are absent, ask the administrator to check historical analytics coverage. Review database and directory size through Tools → Site Health → Info where available.
Analytics reports describe their selected metric, filters and date basis. Confirm that their history matches the records retained in the store.

What to include in your data inventory

Report in records, separating orders, customers and products. Describe order notes, media and plugin-specific data.

Give the oldest retained order date and users represented. Add measured database or file storage separately if available.

Add the dates covered and the people who use this software. Label estimates and describe how you calculated them.

Export your WooCommerce history

  1. Download the order report for the agreed dates and columns.
  2. Open Products → All Products → Export for the product CSV.
  3. For complete structured store data, ask the hosting administrator for a supported WordPress database backup.
  4. Collect the corresponding media and required plugin files, preserving their relationships to the records.

A report CSV contains the report table and is narrower than the full order database.

A database backup and file copy have different contents. Check both when product media or plugin attachments are included.

Why WooCommerce data has value for AI training

Store records can connect a catalog item with an order and its fulfillment history.

Notes and related media can add context about the decisions and issues involved in managing the purchase.

What stays private

Select the store tables and files in scope, reviewing customer, payment and plugin-held sensitive data.

Telegraph Lab reviews the proposed material with you and agrees how sensitive information will be handled. Preparation can include excluding material, redacting details and replacing personal identifiers. Your company keeps ownership; the licensing agreement defines the material, permitted uses and authorized recipients.

Common questions about WooCommerce data

Does the order report export every order field?

It exports the selected analytics table. Use a fuller route for underlying order and note data.

Where do large report downloads appear?

WooCommerce can process them in the background and email a download link to the requesting account.

Will a database backup include media files?

Collect file storage separately; the database usually holds references to media.

Why might older order counts be missing?

Check the report dates, date basis and historical analytics processing with the administrator.
