  2. Select the Spaces, Folders and Lists to include in a task export.

  4. Record the locations and any export limits applied, checking for repeated tasks across overlapping selections.
Workspace task-export features depend on plan and permissions. Confirm the option available in your account.

What to include in your data inventory

Report in records, giving task count and location scope. Describe comments, time data, Docs and attachment availability.

Use the oldest task date and users represented. List Docs separately from the task rows when included.

Add the dates covered and the people who use this software. Label estimates and describe how you calculated them.

Export your ClickUp history

  1. Run the task export for the agreed locations and download the completed CSV promptly.
  2. Check the task properties, comments and file links present.
  3. Collect actual attachment files through their supported download route.
  4. Export relevant Docs separately, or ask a developer to use the ClickUp API for missing structured content.

ClickUp's task CSV includes attachment hyperlinks, with the media files collected separately.

Docs support formats including PDF, HTML and Markdown. Bulk task exports and Doc exports cover different material.

Why ClickUp data has value for AI training

Task and comment history can show how a team scopes work and responds to blockers.

Connected Docs and attachments can add the instructions and evidence used during completion.

What stays private

Telegraph Lab reviews the proposed material with you and agrees how sensitive information will be handled. Preparation can include excluding material, redacting details and replacing personal identifiers. Your company keeps ownership; the licensing agreement defines the material, permitted uses and authorized recipients.
