Find and export
your NetSuite data.

NetSuite saved searches can quantify business records. The option named Full CSV Export covers selected lists and reports, so a complete inventory also identifies transaction and file material outside it.

Find your NetSuite data size

  1. Use an administrator or another role with complete access to the relevant records.
  2. Open Lists → Search → Saved Searches → New and select the required type.
  3. Set dates and criteria for the retained scope, then run and export the results.
  4. Count unique record IDs or named line records. Review File Cabinet storage separately where available.
Transaction searches can return multiple lines per transaction. Use a suitable main-line filter or deduplicate IDs when counting whole transactions.

What to include in your data inventory

Report in records, listing transactions, customers, vendors, items and other types counted. Add File Cabinet size in GB separately if relevant.

State the subsidiaries, financial years and users represented, with imported history identified.

Add the dates covered and the people who use this software. Label estimates and describe how you calculated them.

Export your NetSuite history

  1. As an administrator, open Setup → Import/Export → Export Tasks → Full CSV Export.
  2. Submit and download the resulting ZIP, checking the lists and reports included.
  3. Export the required transaction saved searches separately, or review provisioned SuiteAnalytics Connect access for a larger extraction.
  4. Collect agreed File Cabinet documents through their supported file route.

Oracle explicitly states that Full CSV Export does not export all data. Its scope also depends on selected views and saved searches.

SuiteAnalytics Connect provides a read-only data interface with role-dependent coverage. File content needs its own check.

Why NetSuite data has value for AI training

ERP records can link purchasing, inventory and financial entries across a business process.

Custom fields and related documents can explain the company's specific operating rules.

What stays private

Choose subsidiaries, record types and fields in scope, reviewing confidential financial and personnel data.

Telegraph Lab reviews the proposed material with you and agrees how sensitive information will be handled. Preparation can include excluding material, redacting details and replacing personal identifiers. Your company keeps ownership; the licensing agreement defines the material, permitted uses and authorized recipients.

Common questions about NetSuite data

Does Full CSV Export contain everything?

Oracle states that it covers a defined selection of lists and reports rather than all account data.

Why are there several rows for one transaction?

The saved search may return transaction lines. Define the count or use unique IDs.

Are File Cabinet documents included?

Plan their collection separately and verify the supported route.

Can a larger extraction use Connect?

Check that SuiteAnalytics Connect is provisioned and the connecting role can read the required records.
