Find your Jobber data size
- Use an admin or a user with Reports permission on a plan supporting the report.
- Open Insights → Reports and select a relevant jobs report.
- Choose All time, or a date range covering the retained history, and record its total.
- Repeat for quotes and invoices. Export the client list to establish the separate client count.
What to include in your data inventory
Report in records, with the job, quote, invoice, visit and client counts identified separately. Describe note and attachment availability.
Check the oldest dates in the all-time report and include active office and field staff using Jobber.
Export your Jobber history
- Open each relevant report, select the required date range and columns, and use Export to CSV.
- As an authorized admin, open Clients → More Actions → Export Clients, reviewing any tag filters.
- Download the emailed CSV files, including all parts if the client export is split.
- Collect files attached to notes using the available per-note export or individual downloads.
Reports and client exports depend on plan and permissions. Some reports have no CSV export.
Photo and document collection operates separately from the record tables. Preserve the client, job or note each file belongs to.
Why Jobber data has value for AI training
A request, quote and job can show how a service business scopes and delivers work.
Recurring visits and field notes can add examples of how teams adapt to the same customer's needs over time.
What stays private
Select the clients, jobs and notes in scope. Review customer contact details and private field comments before defining the collection.
Telegraph Lab reviews the proposed material with you and agrees how sensitive information will be handled. Preparation can include excluding material, redacting details and replacing personal identifiers. Your company keeps ownership; the licensing agreement defines the material, permitted uses and authorized recipients.
